ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS THE GLOBE

Sciences Po Toulouse has a strong international vocation, driven by an ambitious commitment to globalizing its programmes and fostering mobility among its students, faculty and staff members.

BUILDING GLOBAL EXCELLENCE THROUGH INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

International engagement sits at the heart of Sciences Po Toulouse’s academic identity. The institution has developed an ambitious strategy to embed a global dimension across its programmes, strengthen academic and scientific cooperation, and support mobility throughout its entire community.

This vision has taken shape through a network of over 160 partner universities worldwide, spanning student exchanges, mobility programmes and double degree arrangements. Moreover, Sciences Po Toulouse is equally committed to partnering with institutions recognized for their academic standing, ensuring that students have access to the best opportunities abroad while creating meaningful space for faculty collaboration and research.

Through this network, every student has the opportunity to spend their third year overseas, an experience that stands as one of the most formative of their time at Sciences Po. Living and studying abroad sharpens language skills, builds intercultural understanding, fosters independence, and opens a truly international perspective.

More broadly, these partnerships drive:

  • Mobility opportunities for students, faculty and staff
  • Language development across a wide range of languages, including English, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, etc.
  • The continuous enrichment and renewal of academic programmes
  • A deeper international dimension across curricula and academic pathways
  • Greater visibility and attractiveness for the institution on the world stage

Each year, over 200 international students from around forty countries come to study at Sciences Po Toulouse, bringing with them the cultural diversity and intellectual energy that make campus life truly global.

OUR DOUBLE DEGREES

Double degree with the Universidad Complutense de Madrid
This multidisciplinary, bilingual programme, split between Madrid and Toulouse, is designed to equip students with a broad and versatile skill set. From the fourth year onwards, students choose from 11 specializations spanning human rights, civil society and democratic renewal, international cooperation, etc.

Courses in law, economics, political science, history and two compulsory foreign languages are taught with a dual purpose: building a strong general culture and scientific grounding, while developing the analytical tools needed to understand political challenges, governance systems and public policymaking, with a particular focus on social actors.

PROFESSIONAL MOBILITY

ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY

Sciences Po Toulouse welcomes staff from its partner institutions as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility programme. Teaching (STA) and training (STT) mobility opportunities enable academic staff, researchers, and administrative or technical personnel to develop their professional skills, exchange best practices, and strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions.

Depending on the objectives of the mobility, participants may undertake teaching assignments, job shadowing activities, training periods, or exchanges with their counterparts.

To organise a mobility at Sciences Po Toulouse, partner institutions are invited to contact the International Relations Office to discuss and design a programme tailored to their needs.

VISITING SCHOLARS AND PROFESSORS

Sciences Po Toulouse is strongly committed to promoting international cooperation by regularly welcoming visiting professors, researchers, and distinguished academics from around the world. These collaborations enrich the institution's academic and research environment by fostering the exchange of expertise, the sharing of knowledge, and the development of joint projects.
