The campus

Since January 2022, Sciences Po Toulouse has moved to the Manufacture des Tabacs (21 Allée de Brienne, 31000 Toulouse), a listed building covering 6,000 m2.

This move responds to the school's need for innovation in educational engineering with:

  • A modern library with collaborative workspaces
  • A fully equipped room dedicated to the journalism school
  • A radio studio
  • Four lecture halls equipped for hybrid teaching and video conferencing
  • Modulable classrooms


 
Getting to the campus

Coming from the aiport, the closest stop to Sciences Po Toulouse on the airport shuttle is Compans Caffarelli. A single ticket costs 10€ and can be purchased on board.

You can also take bus line 30 to Odyssud-Ritouret, then tram line T1 to metro stop Arènes (line A) or Palais de Justice (line B). This costs around 2€. The same ticket can be used across bus, tram and metro, provided all journeys are consecutive and taken within one hour of the first validation.

How to access to the Manufacture

Opening hours

The Manufacture des Tabacs campus is open Monday to Friday 7am to 8:45pm (doors close at 9pm), and Saturday 7am to 7pm.

Two university libraries are available to students: the Sciences Po Toulouse library (building D), open Monday to Friday 8:30am to 8pm, and the Université Toulouse Capitole library (building H), open Monday to Friday 8:15am to 10pm and Saturday 9:30am to 8pm.

For any questions regarding your incoming mobility, students can contact Ms Anna READ, Incoming Mobility Officer, at office MD218 (building D), by phone on +33 (0)5 61 11 02 66 or by email at incoming@sciencespo-toulouse.fr. In-person office hours are as follows: Monday to Friday 9am to 12pm and 1:30pm to 5pm

STUDENT ASSOCIATIVE LIFE


Sciences Po's student associations offer students exceptional opportunities to discover a wide range of enriching experiences and to get involved in projects that align with their personal values.

Whether through groups focused on culture, sport or civic engagement, the school offers more than 20 student associations, providing a broad range of possibilities for students to explore and join.

MÔndus
MÔndus is the Sciences Po Toulouse association which welcomes international students. Each year, they organize various events to introduce international students to French culture and allow them to meet French students. 


Student Sport association (AS)
The AS (Student Sport association) is at the heart of student life. Its aim is to promote and make competitive sport accessible to all students at Sciences Po Toulouse.

Affiliated with the Fédération Française de Sport Universitaire (FFSU), the AS enables Sciences Po Toulouse teams to take part in FFSU competitions.

The AS is committed to promoting values of tolerance, equality, fraternity and inclusion. It works alongside other student sports associations to make sport more accessible to all students and to ensure the best possible practice conditions.

International students at Sciences Po Toulouse can access for free the sports lessons available at the University Toulouse Capitole (DAPS) : danse, judo, fencing, climbing, yoga, pilates, tennis, boxing, team sports… And many more !​
 

FAQ

If I study at Sciences Po Toulouse as an international student, will I automatically receive the diploma?

No, only students who stay for the full academic year, obtain at least 30 ECTS per semester, and validate the mandatory courses of the Diplôme Universitaire (DU) will receive the diploma.

How do I apply for a room in a CROUS residence?

When completing the application form, tick the box "A room in a university residence" in the housing section. No further steps are required. You will be contacted in July to be informed whether or not you have been allocated a room.

I applied for a CROUS residence room through the application form am I guaranteed to get one?

No, as the number of rooms reserved for international students is limited, allocation is not guaranteed. All allocation phases, including the supplementary phase in July, are handled through our office: if you were not offered a room in the initial allocation, you can ask us to place you on our supplementary (waiting) list. Our team will do their best to keep you informed of any updates to your file. However, if you do not hear back from us, please assume that all places have been filled.

In any case, we strongly recommend that you begin searching for private housing as soon as you receive your acceptance letter, without waiting for confirmation of a place in university accommodation.

When does online registration take place?

Online administrative registration opens in July. You will receive all necessary instructions by email, at the address provided in your application.

When will I be able to choose my courses?

You will be able to select your courses during the month of your arrival. If you are completing a Learning Agreement (Erasmus students only), you must list your selected courses on it. The final list of courses you wish to take must be sent at the beginning of September.

When will my timetable be available?

Your final timetable will be available in September.

Is it compulsory to speak French to be admitted to Sciences Po Toulouse?

To be admitted to the Diplôme Universitaire (DU) programme, a B2 level in English is required for the English-taught track. If you only wish to take courses in English, French proficiency is therefore not compulsory, although we recommend acquiring basic French for everyday life. Please note that in both the English-taught and French-taught tracks, French language courses are mandatory.

I already speak French fluently, are French courses still compulsory for me?

Each case is reviewed individually to determine whether an exemption from French language courses can be granted.

How do exams work at Sciences Po Toulouse?

This depends on your track. In the French-taught track, DU courses are assessed through continuous assessment, while courses shared with French students are assessed either through continuous assessment or a final exam, depending on the course (see the 2026-2027 DU Course Catalogue for details). In the English-taught track, all courses are assessed through continuous assessment.

Can I continue my studies at Sciences Po Toulouse?

Sciences Po Toulouse offers a wide range of master's programmes taught in French. Information on the different programmes and their admission requirements is available here.

Where can I find my certificate of enrolment?

Once your administrative registration is complete, you will receive instructions on how to activate your student email address and obtain your certificate of enrolment, available on the student intranet.

I have prior commitments that clash with the start of term at Sciences Po Toulouse — can I arrive after classes begin?

Yes, late arrivals are accepted up to two weeks after the start of classes, provided you send us supporting documentation.
